Emily’s practice is devoted to family law litigation. She handles a variety of cases within the discipline of family law, which include divorce, child custody, adoption proceedings, modification of child support/maintenance/parenting time, dependency & neglect cases, paternity actions, and family law appeals.
Emily graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Political Science in 2009. After she received her undergraduate degree, she attended the University of Oregon Law School.

During law school, she worked as a research assistant for two years and clerked at Western Environmental Law Center. She was involved with the Native American Law Student Association and was the president of Land, Air, Water, the school’s student environmental law group. Emily graduated from law school with a certificate in Environmental and Natural Resources in 2012. She was admitted to the Colorado Bar in October 2012.

Emily is a Colorado transplant from Canada. During her free time, she enjoys getting outside to the Colorado rockies and running around Washington Park.
